Monument to victims of political repression will be renovated in Ufa

UFA, 4 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Ufa a monument to victims of political repression will be reconstructed. Works will be carried out in the park of the 50th anniversary of the Victory, the press service of the city administration informs. Under the new project, instead of a block with rough edges a monolith will be established. One of the creators of the monument Leonid Dubinsky said that he had been waiting for that moment for a long time.

There will be also a parking, which will accommodate up to 150 cars. At the opposite end of the park there will be sports and children's playgrounds adapted for children with disabilities. Along the alleys more than 300 street lights will be installed. They will be located 25 metres away from each other, so that even at night there will be as bright as day.

LLC "Potential" is a contractor. All works should be completed before December 1, but the main part of work is scheduled to be performed a month earlier.
