HC Salavat Yulaev started with a victory over Torpedo in Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor Cup

UFA, 3 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. In Nizhny Novgorod a preseason hockey tournament - the Cup of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region kicked off. In the opening match HC Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) beat the home team - Torpedo with a score of 4: 2.

Among Ufa players Kyril Tsulygin, Teemu Hartikainen, Anton Lazarev and Dmitry Makarov showed good playing.

Also Lada (Tolyatti), Lokomotiv (Yaroslavl), Neftekhimik (Nizhnekamsk) and Ak Bars (Kazan) compete for the Cup.

In the first matches Lada won Neftekhimik - 3: 2 in overtime and Lokomotiv beat Ak Bars - 3: 0.

On August 3 Ufa club will fight with HC Neftekhimik.
