Water protection zones of Kamyshly-Uzyak and Tuyalyas rivers were cleaned from waste in Bashkiria

UFA, 31 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. In the capital of the Bashkir Trans-Urals - Sibay water protection zones of Kamyshly-Uzyak and Tuyalyas rivers were cleaned from waste. The cleaning was held in the framework of the All-Russian Ecological Campaign "Clean Banks to Our Rivers and Lakes". It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Ecology of Bashkortostan.

The Sibay Territorial Committee of Bashkortostan Ministry of Ecology, the group of young mothers «Happy Super-Mom», Sibay department of LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Ufa" became initiators and participants of the campaign.

Total the cleaning-up event was attended by over 70 people. Nearly four tons of trash were collected and transported to the city dump.

The environmental campaign will end on July 31. At present, more than 17 thousand inhabitants of the region have already become participants of the events on cleaning up of water protection zones and coastal strips of water bodies. The main purpose of the campaign is to improve the condition of water basins.
