Ufa hosted a reception on behalf of the Russian President in honour of leaders of BRICS and SCO states

The night before, Ufa hosted an official reception on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation in honour of the leaders of the delegations - participants of the BRICS Summit and the Summit of the Council of heads of states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which was attended by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

The solemn event was held at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre, the press service of the Head of the Republic informs.

“Our states and peoples are united not only with ties of friendship, but also with our common desire to make the world where we are living, a safer and more predictable, to provide a reliable environment for sustainable development. We see in it the main point of working together in multilateral groups and organizations such as the BRICS, SCO and the Eurasian Economic Union as well as on a bilateral basis,” the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said in his welcoming remarks. “I am sure that the results of our work in the capital of Bashkiria will be a significant contribution to realization of these goals.”
