"I hope that Bashkortostan will take full advantage of all the opportunities offered by the Summits", Anton Kobyakov, the Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, the executive secretary of the organizing committee of the Russian Federation's Presidency of the SCO in 2014-2015 and of BRICS in 2015-2016 said at a briefing in Ufa.

He also expressed confidence in the development of cooperation in the format of R2R («region-to-region») proposed by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

Anton Kobyakov thanked Ufa residents for their patience during the preparations for the Summits which lasted three years.

"A breakthrough that was realized by regional authorities together with the federal government for the development of Bashkortostan, development of transport, congress-exhibition, hotel infrastructure - all this will allow the republic hosting large-scale events of international and federal level".
