Sabantuy on Lake Yakty-Kuhl gathered more than five thousand people in Bashkiria

UFA, 6 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. A Resort Sabantuy was held for the first time in Abzelilovo region of Bashkortostan, in the territory of ski-centre "Metallurg-Magnitogorsk". It was an initiative of the owners of hotels located along the bank of Lake Yakty-Kuhl.

The Resort Sabantuy featured one of the most beautiful vacation destinations located on the border of Bashkortostan and the Chelyabinsk region. The format of the festival brought together tourism, business, sports and culture. Overall, the event was attended by over five thousand people. The Sabantuy guests were vacating families with children, residents of neighbouring villages, young people – everybody had fun at the festive event.

An exhibition of retro cars and colourful horse show, workshops and ethnographic farmsteads with tasting of national dishes, a traceurs’ performance and an open air disco were of particular interest of the comers.

Representatives of Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk region authorities, Yakty-Kuhl health resort management, "MMK Kurort" company and owners of private hotels discussed the prospects of development and branding of the resort area. It is planned to make the Resort Sabantuy on Lake Yakty-Kuhl a traditional annual event.
