Bus stops with solar panels appeared in Ufa

UFA, 6 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. In the Kirov residential district of Ufa bus shelters are installed with lights powered by solar energy. It is reported by the press service of the Ufa City Hall. The public transport stop located in Zaki Validi Street near the "Dynamo" stadium previously was designated only with traffic signs.

Light boxes are decorated with historic views of Ufa inside the bus stop shelter. They are illuminated at night by solar energy accumulated during the day.

The company, which manufactured and installed these bus shelters, told that they were fully autonomous, independent from the power grid.
