Ufa Petroleum University develops cooperation with Mexico

UFA, 3 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) develops cooperation with Mexico. USPTU and the University of Coahuila (Mexico) signed a cooperation agreement.

In an interview with the USPTU rector Ramil Bakhtizin Professor of foreign university-partner Anna Ilyina reported that the University of Coahuila located in three cities, including the capital of the state - Saltillo.

According to her, recently research areas related to the petroleum industry and alternative energy sources have begun actively developing in Mexico.

"We have a desire to implement joint projects with your university", Anna Ilyina said.

A year ago, USPTU was visited by the Ambassador of Mexico to Russia Ruben Alberto Beltran Guerrero. He was impressed by the level of educational process organization there.

"We hope that the relationship with Mexican counterparts will develop. The system of academic exchange with universities in other countries has been already arranged. We would be interested in the organization of joint scientific conferences and seminars, exchange of information", the USPTU rector Ramil Bakhtizin said.
