In Bashkiria Summits guests can explore the World Heritage sites of the SCO and BRICS countries

UFA, 3 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. In Bashkiria guests of the Summits can explore the World Heritage sites of the SCO and BRICS countries. All information about the unique natural and cultural facilities is available on the website of the Republican Committee of UNESCO.

The organization also recalls that in 2012 in Bashkortostan the UNESCO biosphere reserve "Bashkir Ural" is established (under the UNESCO program "Man and Biosphere"), which includes five compactly arranged specially protected areas - State Nature Reserve "Shulgan-Tash", National Park "Bashkiria" Natural Park "Muradymovskoe Gorge", Zoological Reserve "Altyn Solok" and Zoological Reserve "Iksky".

The same year a mixed natural and cultural site "Bashkir Ural - Ural-Batyr Land", which includes the cave "Shulgan-Tash" with rock paintings of the Paleolithic period and Bashkir folk epic "Ural-Batyr", was submitted to the Tentative World Heritage List of UNESCO.
