Residents of Bashkortostan have collected school kits to help children of DPR and LPR

UFA, 30June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Residents of Bashkortostan have collected school kits to help children from DPR and LPR. The charity campaign to collect school supplies "Day of Knowledge in New Russia" for children from Donetsk and Lugansk regions was organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Bashkortostan.

From June 15 to 26, it was collected about six thousand items of school supplies - schoolbags, notebooks, diaries, sets of pens, pencils and crayons, coloured paper, albums for drawing, brushes. Total 30 boxes of school supplies were obtained, the department informs.

The supplies collected during the charity event will be sent to Moscow to the Office of the Ombudsman for Children's Rights, where from they will be delivered to the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
