More than 15,000 new vehicles appeared on the roads of Bashkiria YTD

UFA, 23 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan, from January to May this year, more than 15 thousand new cars were sold. In terms of the market volume for five months Bashkortostan took the seventh place in the rating of Russian regions. Such data are reported by «Autostat» analytical agency.

Experts mark a decline in car sales compared to the same period of the last year. According to statistics, residents of the republic purchased cars by 54.4% less than for five months of the last year.

In general, the new cars market in Russia for the period reached 487.1 thousand vehicles, 48.6% less than the previous year (947.9 thousand). Thus, the development of the automobile market shows a slowdown. As a result of sales for five months, more than half (53.1%) volume of the Russian market is accounted for ten leading regions. The share of the republic, which took the seventh position, is 3.1% of the total Russian volume.

Experts point out that the range of markets decrease is quite wide - from 12.5% (Dagestan) to 59% (Tyumen region). Almost half of the top 50 regions showed a drop below the market average.
