City services prevent asphalt overheating in Ufa

UFA, 23 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. In Ufa, in some parts of the road asphalt became too hot because of the heat wave - urban services cool it with water.

As the press service of the City Hall informs, street flushers operate in emergency mode with increasing frequency of the road network coverage. Cooling with water helps to avoid significant deformation of pavement during the heatwave. In particular, these measures helped keeping the pavement in the streets of Moscow during the heatwave in 2010.

Road services in the short term will conduct activities to restore the deformed parts of the road, the city administration assured.
