Bashkortostan signed agreements with Republic of Karelia and Novosibirsk region at SPIEF

UFA, 19 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday at the 19th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the Head of Karelia Alexander Khudilainen signed an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Government of the Republic of Karelia on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation, the press service of the Head Bashkortostan informs.
The document is signed for a period of five years to develop and strengthen bilateral relations on a stable and long-term basis. It supposes cooperation in trade and economic sphere, in the field of agriculture, research and innovation, transport, urban planning and housing-communal services, education, health, forestry, environmental protection, culture, sports and tourism. It also provides exchange of experience in implementing state national and youth policy, labour relations and social welfare, information and communications, media, interaction with civil society organizations.
On the same day Rustem Khamitov and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Vladimir Gorodetsky signed an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Government of the Novosibirsk region on trade and economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation.
This document is also signed for five years with the aim of developing and strengthening bilateral relations. Under the agreement, the regions will cooperate in the fields of trade, agriculture, research and innovation, transport, urban planning and housing-communal services, education, health, forestry, ecology, culture, sports and tourism. It is also expected to exchange practices in state national and youth policy, social welfare, information and communications, media, interaction with civil society organizations. After the signing, the parties discussed the prospects of joint investment projects implementation, the press service of the Head of Bashkortostan reports.
