The Russian athlete Alexander Sergeev (Tver - Bashkortostan), together with Anton Ryahov, Vasily Pogreban and Vladislav Blintsov won silver medals in the kayak-4 1000m race.

Athletes from Hungary won the race. The quartet of Belarus took the "bronze".
