Russian Foreign Minister confirmed the assumption of Bashkir bloggers

UFA, 15 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed the assumption of Bashkir bloggers. On March 21 «Gazeta.ru» website published the pictures from his personal archive. Bashkir users of social networks recognised a rock on the river Belaya (White) on one of them – a landmark, located in the National Park "Bashkiria".

The "Three Leaders Rock", which is located in Bashkiria in the upper Agidel (White River), a popular place for the "wild" river tourism, is clearly visible behind the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

When comparing the online available images of the rock there is no doubt - the picture was taken in Bashkiria during the river rafting on a rubber boat. Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin are shown on the rock (left to right).

“Most likely, this picture was taken on the river Belaya somewhere in the late 80's and early 90's,” Sergey Lavrov told Bashinform New Agency. “In those years, our group of friends has regularly rafted down the river Belaya, and approximately since 1991 we switched to the rivers Biya, Manu (a tributary of the Yenisei), and then in 1995 finally took fancy to the river Katun and its tributaries.”

"If Sergey Viktorovich would like to visit the places of his youth, we will be happy to arrange him a rafting on the river White, for example, after the July Summits of the SCO and BRICS, which he is sure to visit", the well-known blogger Bashkir Rais Gabitov said.

The Three Leaders Rock is 50 kilometers from Mrakovo village, the administrative centre of Kugarchy region. They say that the image was made by rock-climbers-artists Tatiana and Bulat Rakhimovs in 1979-80.
