Rustem Khamitov has inspected the Sheraton Hotel

UFA, 11 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. On June 10 in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov estimated the readiness of the commissioned Sheraton Hotel to welcoming guests and official delegations which will stay there during a meeting of Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and a meeting of heads of states and governments BRICS.

The nine-story hotel is located at the intersection of Tsurupy and Zaki Validi Streets. This is the first five-star international hotel in the republic. The hotel room capacity includes 161 different rooms starting from deluxe category.

The construction works at the site began two years ago. The mansion of Rossinsky noblemen built in 50-ies of the 19th century was renovated as part of the new hotel construction. Now the restaurant of the Sheraton hotel is located at the renovated building.

“In fact, this is a good result. For a year or two we made what normally takes four or five years. But I should say that the quality was not affected”, Rustem Khamitov said.

During the inspection the Head of the Republic visited a number of rooms, restaurants and meeting rooms.

“Ufa made a huge step forward. Now we can host the forums, conferences and other events at the highest level”, the Head of the Region said.
