"Volga" blogger expedition starts from Ufa

UFA, 10 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. A group of popular Russian bloggers will go on an expedition over 13 regions of the Volga region. It is planned to visit Kazan, Samara, Saransk, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Penza, Orenburg, Elista, Yoshkar-Ola, Cheboksary, Ulyanovsk and Saratov. The expedition starts from Ufa on June 11.

“Bloggers Niaz Aksanov (kukmor) from Kazan and Maxim Malyavin (dpmmax) from Togliatti will come to Bashkiria”, the head of the "Volga" expedition, blogger Rais Gabitov (rais) said. “They will estimate the readiness of Ufa for the SCO and BRICS Summits, will visit the Bashkir refineries. On June 12, together with Bashkir bloggers Artyom Klimenko and Alfiya Shayhalislamova, the expedition will visit Sabantuy in Duvan region, and then will climb Mount Iremel. It is planned to see the riverhead of the White River.”

The bloggers will report about the most interesting historical, natural and cultural attractions of the regions while traveling.

The expedition is supported by "Live Journal" and the Russian Geographical Society. The Russian traveller Fyodor Konyukhov sent a letter of greetings to the participants of the expedition. In addition, the famous traveller promised as possible to participate in one of the stages of the expedition.

After Ufa the "Volga" expedition will depart to Kazan. Rais Gabitov promises to post in his blog all links to travel notes of participants.

The blogger journey will end in August.
