General meeting of the SCO, BRICS and EEU leaders will be held in Ufa

UFA, 8 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. In Ufa the leaders of the SCO, BRICS and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) will meet on July 9. This was stated by the Special Representative of the Russian President for SCO Affairs Bakhtiyer Khakimov at a press conference in International News Agency "Russia Today". The discussion will focus on the issue of cooperation "in interests of prosperity and common development".

Bakhtiyer Khakimov said that the agenda of the SCO and BRICS Summits in Ufa would not interfere, because these formats would have different tasks.

"BRICS - is cooperation on more global issues, primarily an economic profile platform, forum. The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is a multifunctional structure, with several key aspects of cooperation: security, politics, economy and humanitarian sphere ", the Special Representative of the Russian President for SCO Affairs said.
