Unique robot teacher will arrive in Ufa

UFA, 5 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. A unique robot teacher will arrive in Ufa from Moscow. On June 10 Bashkir State University (BSU) will be visited by Alantim robot that collects research data in the department of robotics at Moscow Institute of Technology.

The press centre of Bashkir State University reports that it will demonstrate his teaching and research skills to applicants, students, teachers and all the guests.

Alantim is a development by Permian engineers. The robot understands phrases addressed to it and is able to read emotions, to recognize and remember thousands of people and use more than 100 thousand units of speech. It can answer questions, give lectures, provide background information, show the way and just cheer up.

Alantim will visit 20 cities in Russia with a coaching session; it also collects projects of robotics developers for the competition GenerationS. The robot has already visited seven universities in the country.

The event will be held in the main building of BSU on June 10. Beginning is at 16.00.
