Almost half of car owners purchased them with borrowed funds in Bashkortostan

UFA, 2 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Residents of Bashkortostan eagerly buy cars on credit. Statistics show that 47.6% of new vehicles purchased in the republic in April of this year "forced" their owners to make monthly payments to the bank.

Studies based on sales of new cars and car loans in April 2015, made by the "AUTOSTAT" analytical agency and the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI) showed regaining in the cars share bought with borrowed money, compared to the "failure" in the first quarter of the year. In general, in April 110,479 new cars were acquired in Russia, 35% of this amount was purchased with borrowed money. Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2015, the figure was only 20.1%.

"The new cars market in April 2015 was by 49% less than in April 2014," the executive director of the "AUTOSTAT" analytical agency Sergey Udalov says. "But the fact of growing support by the credit institutions gives hope that sales may increase in the industry ".

In Bashkiria this indicator is above the national average. Residents of the republic purchased total 3441 new cars in April, including with loans - 1638. Thus, the share of credit cars in Bashkortostan was 47.6% versus 35% in Russia.
