Holi Festival of Colours will be held in Ufa

UFA, 01 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. On June 6, in Ufa an unusual, amazing, colourful celebration - the Holi Festival will be held at Ivan Yakutov Park. It will be organized by a regional branch of the Russian Union of Youth and the administration of the Soviet district of the city.

The history of the Festival of Colours goes back to ancient Indian spring festival of Holi. Today, these colourful festivals are held in all continents. The essence of the Holi Festival is that each participant should paint himself and others with coloured powders as much as possible. It is believed that the more paint is on you, the more good wishes you have.

Men and women, students and successful businessmen, people of all faiths and political beliefs feel themselves comfortable at this celebration, having a sense of freedom, ease and joy. Crowds of bright young people, kilos of paint of different colours, four hours of live music and dance, free entry without age restrictions - all this is the Holi Festival of Colours.
