Airbus A330 wide-body jet landed in Ufa for the first time

UFA, 1 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. An airbus A330 wide-body jet of Aeroflot Company landed in Ufa for the first time. Flights are operated from Moscow. Ufa blogger stonerized informs about it in his web journal.

The blogger also notes that depending on the seating arrangement A330 can carry from 295 to 440 passengers.

As the press-secretary of the Ufa airport Tatiana Rizvan informs "aircrafts of such class will arrive in Ufa not very often, but the staff should be able to accept and handle such jets on the eve of the SCO and BRICS Summits".

Recall that in September 2014, AN-124 "Ruslan" of "Volga-Dnepr" airline landed at the Ufa International Airport for transportation of cargo for Ufa Engine Industrial Association. The airport accommodated the aircraft of this type for the first time in seven years due to the commissioning of the second runway after reconstruction.

At the same time the administration of Ufa aviation hub reports that the airport is ready to receive large passenger jets "Boeing-747", "Boeing-777", and the airport personnel are being trained to service aircrafts such as "A-330".
