International Conference "Water for Life" invites residents of Bashkortostan

UFA, 29 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Representatives of Bashkiria are invited to participate in the international high-level conference on the results of the implementation of the decade campaign "Water for Life" 2005-2015. The Global Forum will be held on June 9-11, in Dushanbe. According to the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ufa Olimkhon Shamsov, representatives of public authorities and experts working in the field of water management and environment can attend the conference.

The conference is organized by efforts of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the assistance of the UN and other international organizations. The main purpose of the forum is to assess progress towards the goals of the Decade and to identify further efforts to ensure the sustainable development of water resources. The solution of water problems requires further comprehensive efforts of international cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries and the development of partnerships at all levels.
