Heat wave is expected in Bashkiria this weekend

UFA, 28 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. This weekend a heat wave will cover Bashkiria. Forecasters predict hot and dry weather in the territory of our republic and the Volga Federal District. The average daily temperature will be above normal by seven or more degrees. These days, the air in the region will warm up to 32-33 degrees Celsius.

“Mostly dry and hot weather will continue until June 2 with temperatures ranging from 28 to 33 degrees, the night temperature will be 14-19. Peak of heat will occur at the weekends May 30 and 31,” the press secretary of the Agency of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring RB Elena Orlova commented.

In hot days the risk of forest fires significantly increases. From today, in a number of regions in the south of the republic the fourth grade fire hazardous alarm is announced. The Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in Bashkortostan urges citizens to be extremely careful with fire, do not throw cigarette butts in the woods, do not make fires and leave bottles or broken glass in forest areas.
