"Garden on the roof" won the Startups Battle in Ufa

UFA, 28 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. In Ufa a project of a greenhouse to grow vegetables on the roof became the winner of the Startups Battle. Crush test of innovative ideas was held as part of the Spring Entrepreneurship Week in Bashkortostan.

As admitted by of the participant of the team-winner "Tornado" Eugenia Vinokurova, the idea of a greenhouse appeared at the last moment: "The idea was born for a long time. We have been thinking it over from 12.00 to 15.00. Then the plan and the project were drawn up, but we did not have the team captain with us. And when we called him, he destroyed our entire project with one question. Then we started to think about a new idea, and having talked with the entrepreneur, who was a member of our team we immediately realized that our project would be a greenhouse".

Participants of the Battle worked on one of proposed areas: engineering, health and smart energy. Four teams out of 11 reached the final, and the winner was selected among their projects.
