Futsal World Cup starts in Ufa
UFA, 25 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa hosts a Futsal World Cup. The tournament with the participation of Ufa foreign university students will be held open air at Ufa State Petroleum Technical University on May 26-27.
It will bring together teams of Angola, Vietnam and the Arab countries, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and African national team and the national teams of foreign students of Bashkir State Pedagogical University, Bashkir State Medical University, Ufa State Technical Aviation University.
The competition will be opened with a parade of teams accompanied with the sounds of anthem of the World Cup. Also a bright dance program is planned: the Bashkir folk dances, African dances; the "Flower Lotus" dance by Chinese students.
According to preliminary data, the event will be attended by over 500 international students from more than 30 countries.
The goal of the tournament, which this year will take place for the seventh time, is social adaptation of foreign students, the strengthening of friendly relations between young people of different nationalities.
At various times, teams of Vietnam, South Africa, Africa, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan became world champions.
