Posters with periodic table appeared in the streets of Ufa

UFA, 22 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Posters with a periodic table appeared in the streets of Ufa. They display chemical elements with a brief description and illustrations. The initiative to place such information materials in the capital was offered by the Fund for Support and Development of Science RB.

The campaign is timed to the 5th All-Russian Festival of Science, which this year will take place in Ufa from September 25 to 27. According to the press service representative of the Fund Guzel Gumerova, the festival participants will be able to attend lectures by leading scientists in Russia and abroad, the exhibition of the latest multimedia technologies, unusual cognitive show. The carrying out the largest scientific event will involve all the universities, institutes and research institutions. The festival will cover more than 20 venues.

In 2014, the National Festival of Science was held in 70 subjects of the Federation, it was visited by about two million people, with 70 percent of them - pupils and students.

In the meantime, Ufa residents and visitors can take photos against the backdrop of the posters, having added to them a hashtag # festivalnauki2015. The most active participants will receive interesting and useful gifts.
