Bashkir social networks users found in the photo of the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov a rock on the river Agidel
UFA, 22 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. In the photo, published earlier by «Gazeta.ru» the "Three Leaders Rock", which is located in Bashkiria in the upper Agidel (White River), a popular place for the "wild" river tourism, is clearly visible behind the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Obviously, the picture was made in 1980 during the rafting of Sergey Lavrov and his friends over the upper reaches of the major river of Bashkortostan.
When comparing the online available images of the rock no doubts are left - the picture was taken in Bashkiria during the "wild" river rafting on a rubber boat. On the cliff there are shown (left to right) Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin.
The Three Leaders Rock is 50 kilometers from Mrakovo village, the administrative centre of Kugarchy region. They say that the image was made by rock-climbers-artists Tatiana and Bulat Rakhimovs in 1979-80.
