Bashkortostan is among the regions with the youngest car fleet

UFA, 19 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Bashkortostan is among the 15 regions with the youngest car fleet in Russia. The average age of cars amounted to 10.7 years in the republic.
According to the AUTOSTAT agency, the country's average age "of cars" is 12.4 years. The fleet of 30 regions was less than this figure. Bashkortostan is located on the 13th line of the rating with an average vehicles age of 10.7 years.
The study involved 83 regions of Russia. The most "aged" park was recorded in the Far East and Siberia. For example, residents of Kamchatka Territory drive the cars with more than 20-year history. This also applies to the Kaliningrad region - here the average age of passenger vehicles is 18.4 years. The youngest cars that haven’t reached the 10-year age are in Tatarstan, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, Perm Territory, Moscow and Samara Region.
