Bashkortostan athletes have won 30 medals in the World Blind Games

UFA, 18 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkortostan athletes have won 30 medals at the World Blind Games, which ended in Korean Seoul yesterday. As part of the Russian team, they were awarded 17 gold, six silver and seven bronze medals.
"Our athletes participated in three sports: swimming, athletics and judo. Swimmers brought the highest awards: Oksana Savchenko (three), Alexander Nevolin-Svetov (four), Arthur Sayfutdinov and Mikhail Zimin have per one gold medal.
Gold medals were also awarded to track and field athletes: Alexey Labzin (1), Andrey Koptev (1), Anna Sorokina (three), Elena Pautova (two). Also, Artem Merkulov won a gold medal in judo", the spokesperson of the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB Elena Ledyaykina said.
Russia has become a leader in number of awards. The Russian count is the following: 114 medals - 48 gold, 35 silver and 31 bronze ones.
