Days of Polish Culture will be held in Bashkiria

UFA, 15 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. This year Days of Polish Culture in Bashkortostan are dedicated to the Year of Literature in Russia and the Year of Theatre in Poland. Festive events will take place in the republic from May 16 to 20, the Chairwoman of the Centre of the Polish Culture and Education "Vozrozhdenie" Marina Sadykova- Lisovskaya informs.

The program of the Days of Polish Culture includes the laying of flowers to the memorable places associated with life and work of the Poles in the region, meetings in the educational and cultural institutions, concert of students and teachers of the Polish school named after A.Penkevich. Another important event will be unveiling of a memorial plaque mounted on the facade of the house at 19, Gafuri Street in Ufa, in honour of the Roman Catholic parish of the Holy Cross.

In the framework of the Days of Polish Culture in Bashkortostan it is expected a visit to Ufa of the Consuls of the Republic of Poland Embassy in the Russian Federation Stanislaw Sadowi and Peter Borawski on May 19-20, 2015.
