Kitap publishing house issued a book on the history of Bashkir beekeeping

UFA, 14 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Bashkir Kitap publishing house issued a book "The History of the Bashkir beekeeping" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It gives a brief historical overview of the beekeeping development in Bashkortostan, describes the enormous contribution of indigenous population to the revival and preservation of wild-hive beekeeping.

Based on years of experience with forest bee authors of the publication - Yevgeny Petrov and Andrey Gnezdin in detail observe biological characteristics and economic-useful features, give recommendations for practical use, and make a number of offers for further development of the industry. The authors painstakingly collected historical information about the Bashkir beekeeping in libraries and archives of Ufa, Kazan, Ryazan, Moscow and Perm.
