World War II veterans arrived in Ufa to participate in the Victory Parade

UFA, 8 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. 300 World War II veterans from all over the republic arrived in Ufa to participate in the festivities in honour of the 70th anniversary of the Victory. The participants of the celebrations were accommodated in the "Zelenaya Roscha" sanatorium.

Today, on May 8, at the Museum of Military Glory the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov handed over commemorative medals to veterans. As the press service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB informs, a festive concert and a gala reception on behalf of the Head of the Region will be organized for veterans in the afternoon at the concert hall "Bashkortostan".

On May 9, at the Victory Day parade, which will take place in front of the Ufa administration, veterans will be accompanied by experts of the Ministry of Labour RB and subordinate agencies, volunteers and health care workers.
