Unified State Exam mechanism becomes more objective - Vladimir Putin

UFA, 8 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that the system of Unified State Exam becomes more objective. He expressed this opinion yesterday at the meeting of the Commission for Monitoring Targeted Socioeconomic Development Indicators of the Russian Federation, where the implementation of May decrees for three years was discussed.
"The Unified State Exam mechanism becomes more objective. Of course, the public debates continue on the subject, but there is some progress here", the President said.
Vladimir Putin marked positive changes in the Russian education. In addition to the Unified State Exam, this is a system of support for talented children, growth of the international prestige of our leading universities.
"Our system of higher education is consistently getting rid of the so-called pseudo-universities", the head of the state stressed.
In late April, the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science reported that since 1 January 2015, 103 high schools and branches were excluded from the register of licenses. Among them there was Salavat branch of Ufa State University of Economics and Service, and the branch of Ufa State Aviation Technical University in Beloretsk.
The list of educational institutions that were excluded from the register of licenses in the period from January 1 this year, is published on the website of Rosobrnadzor RF.
