"Victory Train" was welcomed in Yanaul

UFA, 6 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Yesterday a "Victory Train" arrived at the railway station of Yanaul. It was welcomed by representatives of the Yanaul administration, general public, war veterans, home front workers, students of educational institutions. Young people took an opportunity to be photographed against the backdrop of a platform with models of military equipment of the Great Patriotic War, as well as to taste a real soldier's porridge from the mobile kitchen. In honour of the arrival of the train a gala concert on the platform was held, which was seen by hundreds of Yanaul residents, the municipal administration informs.

The "Victory Train" was formed at the Gorki railway to the 70th anniversary of the Victory. The veterans - participants of war who worked on the railway travel by the "Victory Train". It started from Nizhny Novgorod in the morning on May 2. The Holiday Train is a steam locomotive, colourfully decorated with wreaths, garlands, photographs of the war years and festive posters. The memorial train includes a platform with military equipment: tanks, guns, and a car with a mobile kitchen and a car-museum. The train goes via the Gorky railway through the stations of "Dzerzhinsk", "Ilyino", "Kovrov", "Vladimir", "Murom", "Arzamas", "Sergach", "Kanash", "Kazan", "Vyatskiye Polyany" "Mozhga", "Agryz" and other items. Solemn celebrations are held at all major railway junctions - meetings, laying wreaths to the monuments, performances of creative groups, tours and fireworks.
