Radio session with ISS cosmonauts was held at USATU

UFA, 6 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. On Tuesday, May 5 at Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) students and schoolchildren had a unique opportunity to talk with the cosmonauts of the International Space Station. As reported at the USATU press centre, the radio signal from the ISS was received by participants for five minutes 40 seconds. During this time ten questions were asked. Cosmonaut Anatoly Shkaplerov expressed his willingness to talk on any subject and to answer all questions from the Earth.
Igor Efimov from school No. 93 asked how the astronauts would celebrate Victory Day?
“We have already congratulated many veterans on the Earth, so on board this great holiday we will celebrate on May 9”, Anatoly Shkaplerov said.
Karina Bogdanova wanted to know what astronauts did not have enough in space expedition?
“First of all water that does not fly in balls but flows”, Shkaplerov admitted.
Young people were also interested in whether there was a rite of initiation for astronauts-newcomers, whether it was difficult to sleep in zero gravity, whether the space debris was visible from the ship. In the end, Anton Shkaplerov on behalf of the crew congratulated those present on the Victory Day.
Recall that this is the second radio session between ISS and USATU. The first was held in 2012 and was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the university.
