Residents of Bashkortostan raised half a million rubles to assist veterans
UFA, 5 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Residents of Bashkortostan directed over 500 thousand rubles to the republican charity marathon "100 days before the Great Victory".
The "100 Days before Victory" campaign was launched in the republic on January 30. The organizers of the project were Bashkortostan Republican Charitable Foundation of the League of Nation's Health and Public Chamber RB.
The event is intended to unite the efforts of the republican residents, institutions and enterprises, local governments and community organizations to provide wide range of assistance to veterans, to form an active civil position in relation to veterans.
Portable water filters to the elderly people are acquired with the collected funds. The marathon will end on May 9.
Everyone can join the campaign; it is enough to send SMS with the word ПОБЕДА on the number 3443. The message cost is 50 rubles. You can also transfer funds to the account of the Charitable Foundation "League of Nation's Health":
