New rector was elected in USATU

UFA, 28 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Nikolay Krioni became the Rector of Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU).

Elections of the USATU Rector were held on Monday, April 27.

In accordance with the decision of the Certification Commission of the Russian Ministry of 6 April 2015 three candidates for the election to the post of USATU Rector were agreed - Doctor of Economics, Professor Alexander Degtyarev, acting Vice Rector for Academic Affairs USATU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Nikolay Krioni and the Head of Mechatronic Machine Tools Department USATU, Ph.D., Professor Rustem Munasypov.

150 representatives of academic staff, other categories of staff and students of USATU were delegated at the elections conference. Before the conference 147 delegates were registered.

Candidates for the post of the USATU Rector again presented their programs and answered questions of the delegates.

As a result of voting Nicholay Krioni was elected the USATU Rector with significant advantage (134 out of 147 votes).

First of all the elected Rector wants to support lecturers, arrange normal working conditions and provide creative development of each efficient employee, regardless of age.
