Citizens and architects will create a dream yard in Ufa

UFA, 27 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. In Ufa from May 5 to 7 a series of meetings of architects and citizens will be held, where in the course of "brainstorming" a concept of the development of modern yards will be created. As a design object yard on the outskirts of Deoma residential district is selected, which in the near future a renovation is planned. The initiator of the meeting was the strategic planning department of Architecture and Planning Office of the City.

The dream courtyard design will be carried out by young architects from Vologda "Project Group 8". This is a team of experts in the field of architecture, design, marketing and urbanism. Members of the "Project Group 8" are winners of the City Youth Forum "Your Town" with the project "Bus Stop as a Public Space", the organizers of the series of picnics "Delightful Summer", co-organizers of the "Days of Architecture in Vologda."

As a result of meetings of citizens and architects a master plan of the yard, social and functional scheme will be created, specific options for small architectural forms, surfaces and street furniture will be developed by May 8.

The design process is open to all interested architects, sociologists and urbanists. Applications will be accepted by e-mail: ufa2036@gmail.com.
