Ufa native Vorobyov scored a goal in the gates of the Swedes at World Hockey Championship

UFA, 23 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. In Switzerland, the group stage of the junior (under 18) World Hockey Championship 2015 finished.

The Russian team played brilliantly all the matches in the subgroup and won the first place in it. In the final match Swedish team - 7: 4 was defeated. Already in the first minute of the match two goals were scored.

After 17 seconds Ufa player Mikhail Vorobyov after three passes in the previous games has finally distinguished himself -1:0. But then the Swedes equalized and won the first period - 2: 1. The Russians recovered to their senses in the second half of the match and brought it to victory.

On April 23, in the quarterfinals the junior team of Russia will compete with the home team – their peers from Switzerland.
