Ufa HC "Agidel" devoted its bronze medals to Sergey Mikhalev

UFA, 23 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. The day before yesterday the women's hockey team "Agidel" was awarded bronze medals of the Russian Championship at the press centre of "Ufa-Arena".

The Ufa players won the fourth "bronze" in a row in the finished season. The ceremony took place without a traditional music and applause – due to the death in a car accident of the great hockey coach Sergey Mikhalev.

The "Agidel" team captain Ekaterina Lebedeva spoke on behalf of the team:

“In the morning we all got to know about this terrible tragedy. Our team grieves with all of you. Sergey Mikhailovich will remain in our memories and in our hearts as a great coach and a wonderful person... We remember and mourn ... On behalf of the team I would like to say that we dedicate these medals to the memory of Sergey Mikhalev”, she said.
