In Bashkiria "St. George Ribbon" campaign starts

UFA, 22 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. A patriotic campaign "St. George Ribbon" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War starts today, April 22, at 16.00 in Ufa in Lenin Square.

Organizers of the campaign are the administration of Ufa in conjunction with the City Council of Veterans of War, Labour, Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies RB, with the support of regional public organization of civil-patriotic education "I am a Patriot", printing company "FreshFormat" and the security agency "Taipan".

As reported by the City Hall, a patriotic concert "Songs of Victory" and exposition of findings of the war times "Exhibition of Military Glory" will be held at the event. On the thematic platform "Letter to a Veteran" residents and visitors will be able to express their gratitude, to write congratulations and best wishes to the veterans. The project "I am a Patriot" will operate during the campaign, which collects information about the people who went missing during the war.

During the event, students of military-patriotic and youth clubs of the capital will distribute St. George ribbons among townspeople and visitors.
