Summit in Ufa will give a new dynamic development to the SCO member states in the field of security - experts

UFA, 20 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The SCO Summit in Ufa should give a new impetus to the development of the security and military-political sphere of the member states. This was announced by the representative of Chinese Institute of Global Issues Chi Tse during a videoconference Moscow - Beijing, the official website of the forum informs.

This was also said by the Secretary General of the Centre for Research SCO Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Sun Chzhuanchzhi. In his opinion, it is necessary to review some issues of cooperation in the field of security, given the global problems. The SCO should clearly define its position on all issues, crises that exist outside of the region, he said.

The Deputy Director of the Institute for Far Eastern Studies Sergei Luzyanin noted that at the upcoming SCO Summit the organization would be strengthened in essence. He did not rule out a possibility of changing in the near future of the status of India and Pakistan, as well as updating the list of observers, including due to Belarus. According to him, the expansion of the SCO, on the one hand, will show the world an open and dynamic organization, and on the other - will strengthen its regional and global authority.
