More than 69 thousand people became participants of volunteer clean-up in Ufa

UFA, 20 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. More than 69 thousand people became participants of volunteer event for sanitary cleaning, landscaping and accomplishment held in the Bashkir capital on Saturday.

Traditionally, it was attended by employees of housing sites, enterprises and organizations, local residents, and students of universities and colleges, schoolchildren.

According to the press service of the Ufa administration, more than 1,000 vehicles were involved in garbage disposal. The clean-up areas of the road network amounted to 13.88 million square metres, yard areas - 11 million 26 thousand square metres, parks and gardens - 3 million 174 thousand square metres. During the clean-up 1550 square metres of pavement were renovated.

On April 18, more than five thousand cubic metres of debris were taken out to the city landfill in Cherkassy.
