Experts of Ufa, Dushanbe and Chelyabinsk noted the importance of the SCO in the world economy

UFA, 17 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Experts of Ufa, Dushanbe and Chelyabinsk discussed vectors of economic integration within the SCO. The issue was raised at the International scientific and practical Internet conference "SCO and BRICS: the Factor of Stabilization and Growth of the Global Economy". It was organized by Bashkir Academy of Public Service and Management, Eurasian Centre "Samrau" in Ufa, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Financial and Economic Institute of Tajikistan, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

According to experts, the role of the SCO and BRICS is becoming more influential in the global economy.

“The task of financial universities in all countries is to train specialists who could competently confront the economic crisis”, the Rector of Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan Ashurboy Soliev said.

The Rector of Bashkir Academy of Public Service and Management Sergey Lavrentiev in his report focused on inter-regional relations in the educational and scientific fields. He noted that the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov announced the concept of such «region to region» cooperation in Dushanbe at the last SCO Summit. And now, after almost a year already, this principle is being actively developed.

The Executive Director of the Eurasian Centre "Samrau" Konstantin Safronov suggested the idea to form remote research teams, which would include both promising young scientists of universities of the SCO countries, and already formed scientists and experts.

The conference was closed by the dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan Nikolay Popov, who noted the importance of such events on the eve of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
