More than 400 thousand tulips will bloom by Victory Day in Ufa

UFA, 15 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Catherine Sokolova/. In Ufa this spring over 400,000 tulips and about 200 thousand flowers-annuals will be planted. This was announced by the Head of Directorate of Public Utilities and Accomplishment of the City Hall Vladimir Chernov.

According to him, the creation of flower beds is conducted in almost all city parks and squares, along October Avenue and the road "Ufa - Airport". Flowers are to blossom by the Victory Day.

In addition, Victory Park will be landscaped by May 9. Now there is a repair of the Eternal Flame. Reconstruction of the pedestal with a new bronze bowl made by art casting, to be completed by the end of April.

Replacement of paving, repair of granite steps, landscaping of monuments and painting of military equipment will be completed by the beginning of festive events.
