Victory Day parade will be held in Ufa on May 9

UFA, 14 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Catherine Sokolova/. On May 9, in Ufa a Victory Parade will be held along October Avenue in front of the City Hall. The solemn procession will be held from 10.00 to 11.00.

As deputy head of the city administration Sergei Hoch said, 1349 people will take part in the Victory Parade.

Representatives of the Ministries of Defence, Education, Federal Bailiff Service, the Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service, the City Centre of Public Security and other agencies will participate in the procession dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. Military equipment will not be involved in the upcoming parade.

Last time a military parade was held in Ufa in honour of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory. Then along Lenin Square a solemn procession of the Ufa garrison troops, units of power structures, veterans' organizations and patriotic clubs passed. At the parade a military equipment of the World War II and modern war machines were shown.
