Environmental specialists observe improvement of water quality in rivers of Trans-Urals
UFA, 13 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. According to laboratory studies of the Directorate of the State Analytical Control of the Ministry of Ecology of Bashkortostan water quality in water reservoirs of Trans-Urals has improved.
The press service of the Ministry reports that the water quality of the river Tanalyk has improved in terms of iron, manganese, sulfate, nitrite, nitrate and chloride content. Positive trends are observed also in the river Hudolaz – in copper and manganese.
“The transborder range of the rivers Tanalyk and Hudolaz are under the supervision since 2009. In 2014, works began on clearing and extension of the Karagaily riverbed, which is a right tributary of the river Hudolaz. More than 8 million rubles were allocated for their implementation from the federal budget. The area of clearing will be more than 11 km. Certainly, the implementation of this measure will have a positive effect”, the chairman of the Sibai Territorial Committee of the Ministry Gulnara Nugmanova explained.
