Modernization of the domestic terminal of Ufa Airport will begin in 2016

UFA, 10 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. Modernization of the domestic terminal of International Ufa Airport will begin in 2016. This was announced by Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov during the inspection of a new international terminal of the airport.

“This is the imperative of our time. The fact is that the capacity of that terminal is 600 passengers per hour, this terminal - 800 passengers per hour. If the international terminal capacity is provided for the next 20-25 years, then the terminal of domestic flights is already close to "peak zone" in terms of passenger throughput, and of course, we have to start its upgrading. Next year we will launch and this work too”,Rustem Khamitov said.

The Head of the Region requested the Director General of the Airport Alexander Andreev to begin design works and prepare a feasibility study of the object.
