Daniil Kvyat is the seventh and sixth at practice sessions at the Chinese Grand Prix

UFA, 10 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. The third round of the royal race "Formula 1" started in China. Both of Friday's practice sessions completed on the track in Shanghai, which resulted in the only Russian in the "Formula 1", born in Ufa Daniil Kvyat, who continues to show stable results in the top ten, according to sports journalist Victoria Gavrilova.

Today's first practice session began at 7 am (Ufa time), and immediately Daniil Kvyat showed time allowing him staying in the top five. An hour later, Daniil Kvyat showed 1: 41,097, rising to the fourth place. However, in the remaining half an hour Sebastien Vettel, Felipe Nasr and Daniil Kvyat teammate Rikkyardo improved their results. Thus, in the final minutes the Russian was only the seventh, two and a half seconds behind the leaders (Mercedes AMG F1), respectively.

At the second session Daniil Kvyat managed to show the 7th, and then the fifth time, but then the smoke started pouring from his car.

But the time of 1: 38,737 was enough for him to stay on the sixth position. However, his partner, being only slightly faster (1: 38.311) was the third surrounded by two Ferrari, and this time Kimi Raikkonen was consistently faster than Sebastien Vettel, who, in turn, showed the same time, as the second Mercedes Nico Rosberg.

On Saturday, April 11, at noon the qualification race for Grand Prix of China will start, and prior to it, at 9 am, the third practice session will be held.

The race itself will start on Sunday, April 12, at 11.00. Pilots will have to go 56 laps at not very hot (up to 20 degrees) weather and with a low probability of rain. Last year, Daniil Kvyat finished the tenth at the Chinese Grand Prix and got one point.
